NaNoWriMo strikes again!

Soon the crazy month of writing will begin, and I hope that everyone who did it last year tries again! And maybe we can get even more people to participate with us this year too!

National Novel Writing Month a month long event that allows all writers to let go of that evil Inner Critic, and just let loose all of your creativity into a crazy project and write to your heart's content. The goal is to write 50,000 words from 12:01(am) November 1st up until 11:59(pm) November 30th.

Throughout the whole month, you should not let yourself get caught up in thinking silly things like "is this good enough?" or "this is a bad plot". Throw your Inner Critic in the closet for the month and just let yourself write! NaNo is about the belief that no first draft is ever perfect, and in the hopes that by the end of the month you will have a nice rough draft that you can polish up and be happy about.

Yes, it will be crazy. Yes, it sounds like a lot of work. It is, but it's also a lot of fun! Whether you're writing a fanfic, an original story that's been nagging you for years, or just a silly idea full of the dares the NaNo forums have posted, its all just about the love of writing =]
